During the past few days we have been hearing a lot about Samsung’s new plans for the next iteration of their Galaxy Note. The original Galaxy Note, which was earlier criticized for its huge size for a phone, became a huge hit later on and following that Samsung is showing up the plans for the release of the Galaxy Note 2. Galaxy Note 2 has been into news mainly for the rumours that the screen size is still going to increase as compared to its predecessor.
The Samsung Galaxy Note was a huge device for a smartphone measuring 5.3 inch diagonally, however if rumours are to be believed, Galaxy Note 2 is going to follow the same trend set by its predecessor. The next phablet will be having a 5.5 inch display as earlier reported.
As far as its camera is concerned, we were assuming that it is going to have either an 8MP or 12MP camera. However, today we learned something more about the upcoming phablet. According to MK Business News, The Galaxy Note 2 is going to have a whopping 13 MP rear end camera which will take the photography to a new level.
Samsung has always focused on mainly two things for its smartphones, which are its screen and camera. And as earlier reported the Galaxy Note 2 is going to have a pentile display which is similar to the recently released Galaxy S3 instead of the traditional RGB variant used in Galaxy SII.
There aren’t much more details about the device’s hardware, however the device is almost certain to be running on ICS and Samsung will be giving the Android 4.1 Jelly bean update as soon as possible. The Galaxy Note 2 might also include some of the innovative technologies from Galaxy S3 such as S-Beam, S-Voice, AllShare Play etc. The Galaxy Note 2 is expected to come to the market sometime in August and we all are really excited to see it coming to the market as soon as possible. Meanwhile lets take a look at some of its rumoured specs:
